  • Planning and Preparation:  necessary tools, a clean workspace, and understand the compatibility of the new hardware with your existing system. 
  • Installing the Hardware: Insert the new hardware component (e.g., RAM, graphics card) into the appropriate slot or socket on the motherboard. 
     
  • Connecting Cables: Connect any necessary power or data cables to the new hardware. 
      
  • Power On and Configuration: Check the new hardware is recognized in the BIOS or operating system. 
     
  • Drivers: Install the necessary drivers for the new hardware to ensure it functions correctly. 
  • Downloading or Obtaining Software:

    Obtain the software installation files (e.g., .exe, .dmg) from a reputable source

  • Post-Installation: Once the installation is complete,  activation of the software or install any necessary drivers. 
 
  • Software as a Service (SaaS):
